Well House Men's Group

Join Erich & John for interactive group time to learn healthier connections with other men.

Up until about 150 years ago, most boys and young men spent a good part of the week in the company of their fathers, grandfathers, and uncles in a gathering site or a workplace.  Nowadays, unless the father is a stay-at-home dad, many children have little or no direct interaction with a mature adult male figure.  Further complicating this scenario, direct communication in general is declining as texting and emailing become the primary mode of expressing oneself. It is in this context that men's groups have sprung into being all over the country.

A men's group is a powerful antidote to emotional illiteracy, loneliness, and social isolation. A well-functioning men's group is a gathering of men with the explicit intention of supporting and challenging each other to be the most vital, emotionally transparent, and best versions of themselves that they can be.

Are you looking for deeper connections with specific men or men in general? Do you have unresolved issues with your own father? Are you interested in deepening the bonds with the women and children in your life? Are you wanting to improve your communication or personal leadership skills? Is emotional intimacy elusive? Are you open to introspection?

If the answers are yes to any of these questions, consider joining our men's group at Well House 1900!  The upcoming Well House 1900 Men's Group will be meeting six consecutive Wednesdays between 6:30 and 8:30 PM starting May 3rd and ending June 7th. All men are welcome regardless of ethnicity, age, religion, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation. Emotional process work is encouraged although this is not group therapy.

This is a six-session experience with the first session free.  The remaining five sessions are $125 total, fee payable to Well House 1900.  Reduced fee arrangements can be made based on need.  Please preregister via email to hello@wellhouse1900.com
