We all know teens that are struggling with their emotions. Too often we feel helpless. There is help available!
Well House is so honored and excited to bring Saving Teens to Lake Country. SavingTeens in Crisis Collaborative (SavingTeens) is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting troubled teens and their families struggling with mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, addictions, and other risky behaviors. Their vision is a world in which people with suicide thoughts or experiences are well supported to keep safe, access help, and find hope. Their mission is to provide unique, quality training that empowers individuals, organizations, and communities to work together to keep people safe from suicide.
You will -
- Aquire the tools needed to help individuals with mental health challenges
- Get trained in suicide alertness skills
- Learn the TALK steps - Talk, Ask, Listen, Keep Safe
- Receive safeTalk certification upon completion of the training
Cost: $30. Parent & Child: $50. No one will be turned away.
