Event Description
Many of us are born feeling the feelings of others, and not even realizing when we are. When we are not aware, we might become exhausted being around people, we might change our moods without understanding why. We might feel the stress of others' expectations of us, create inner conflict because of someone else's pain, and feel great stress because we cannot stop it. We might make choices based on others' feelings and end up resentful and confused.
Welcome to the world of the Empath. Being an Empath is more than having empathy. An Empath is a person highly attuned to the feelings and emotions of those around them. Their ability to discern what others are feeling goes beyond understanding feelings, to actually feeling others' feelings and taking those feelings on. Feeling what another person is feeling at a deep emotional level is a beautiful gift and as the Empaths know, it can also be a curse. However, through practice, life can become more clear and easier to navigate as we learn to identify what is ours and what is someone else's.
Join us for time to get to know your beautiful Empathic Self in a whole new way. Together we will learn to trust ourselves and our feelings more, love ourselves more, and realize that nothing is wrong with who we are, rather we have a gift. During these Six group classes, we work together learning the tools for a love-filled reconnection of body, mind, and soul and develop a healthier connection to self and others through healthier boundaries, beliefs, actions, and mindful choices. In each class session, we will discuss practical and soulful concepts to enhance the unity with our deepest selves and grow to love the gifts that being an Empath may bring. We begin Tuesday, January 10, 2023, 6:30-8 pm. We will meet via Zoom and in person every week through February 21. Cost: $240 Register here.
